Looking to get a lightweight tripod setup for glassing & stargazing - my heaviest binos are the UHD 18x56.
Considering the Gitzo GT2545 or the Feisol CT 3441S for tripods due to weight, height, and folded size.
Not to sure about the head ( I don't want a gimbal) and need help.
Would like to keep it under 20oz and under $300.
Any insight would be appreciated.
Many thanks,
Mike

Take a look at this set up The Benro S4pro head and the Benro FRHN14C tripod. I am here today until 12:00 and Friday 9-5:30 and Saturday 10-5. Built well. Light weight, 5 year warranty. call to discuss special Rokjslide pricing, 516-217-1000.

I’ve really liked the aziak tripod I’ve been running the front country but just bought the back country. It seem very solid for how light it is. Also I was very impressed with how smooth the Mutnt micro fluid head is. You will be closer to 30 oz total but very solid set up. It handles my swaro 65 very well. Probably won’t find a tripod that compacts down much smaller then the aziak.

Decided on the Feisol 3441s and the Tricer BP & AC. The extra reach, stability, and light weight - comes in 3.10 lbs.
The Tricer BP is very smooth
