Sloppy shooters who don't consider what's around their target. I really hate being in the desert on weekends when squirrels are up. I'm frankly surprised more people aren't injured or killed by stray bullets from trigger happy whistlepig shooters. I've had dozens of close calls.

Then I watch as he goes back to his truck and gets his rifle. I’m thinking maybe he’s seen something I haven’t and watch as he walks out to the end of the landing and fires off two rounds across the unit then immediately throws up his binos and begins glassing again.

“Established Two-track”

In WY if a road is an “established two track” on most forest and BLM land it’s legally open to all the OHV’s. Problem is, in the sage country they’re absolutely everywhere. It’s impossible to escape them.

I am still waiting for the opportunity to tell another hunter sharing my hunting area
that i was able to get off a few sound shots. That is a little gem I leaned on Rokslide that I keep in my back pocket.

This pertains to waterfowl hunting but roost busters. Just because your here for a few days and dont care about the rest of the season dont go busting roosts and ruining areas for every one. Learn the difference in a loaf and a roost water.

Hunting wise it’s driving closed roads or anywhere your not supposed to. Especially when I walked my ass there.

Non hunting wise it’s idiots taking shits everywhere, which I don’t run into hunting because I’m not on trails or heavily used trails. I just spent two weeks camping and hiking around Utah and I swear every nook and cranny in every slot canyon I was in had shit in it. Even the not busy ones, dog thought she was on a treasure hunt. It’s insane that people think it will just disappear. I bring wag bags and even my portable raft shitter for truck camp.

Garbage and trash is annoying.

Lately though I’ve grown more annoyed with the people that feel their outdoor pursuit is more important than other peoples different public land outdoor pursuit. I’ve used the land for many, many different reasons and paid my way every time. At no time did I feel like my pursuit was more important and I was more entitled than someone else using the land for a different, legal activity.

Every road closed to motorized vehicles had SXS tracks on them in New Mexico, and saw one clown with an atv weaving through the timber looking for seeds I assume?

Side by sides. They are literally changing places that I have gone and loved for decades. Not only do they tear up the forest service roads, but they drive everywhere. Why walk the 200 yards from the existing road to the creek? Just ride your side by side across that soft meadow! I was camping in a valley last summer during a scouting trip that used to be peaceful and quiet and it was a non stop parade of side by sides spinning and roosting the dirt road till the wee hours. Worse than that, one camp full of people was letting their kids drive the side by sides all day long, at one point they were literally doing doughnuts in the creek making the mountain stream muddy for miles. I've seen countless gates at the end of roads that have a side by side sized go arounds at them now.

I've got no problems with people who use them responsibly, but that seems to be pretty few and far between, giving them all a bad name.
they have gotten so ridiculous. There seems to be a huge crowd of people who have purchased these and just drive around the roads all day. something I will never understand. Worse they dont understand that just because they have an "off road" vehicle they are not allowed to drive off road. I am seeing it every time I go to my cabin in the mountains now.
