By this I mean a bullet that causes an unusual amount of carnage for caliber, like the 77 grain tmk in .223/5.56. Pics would be awesome

208 amax (or 208 eldm in today's run) or Bergers 210 hunting. Pushed out of a 300 wsm around 2650-2700 fps. Them is killin bullets.

Why do you want that much damage as pictured by KenLee? I like the Federal Fusion 165gr from my 30-06 for deer. It always exits, leaves a nickel to quarter sized exit hole and the deer rarely take another step and if they do, it might only be 30yds. From one of the magnums, it would be even more devastating.

All depends where you hunt. Thick thick jungle like bush or the chance of them running down a mountain.

Look mid body- yes that is a hole. The exit was nearly basketball sized and the deer folded in half when picked up, only being held together by a strip of skin on the back and belly-

Gotta admire the stereotype of a Bubba from Oklahoma, first post is about carnage from a 30 magnum lol!

To your question though.. any frangible bullet, preferably tipped, the faster the better for damage. Doubt anyone would be able tell the difference between brands.

One spot I hunt frequently, if they go 30 yards, you can plan on at least 2 hours to retrieve it up the river bank.

Why I use that particular load/magnum is sometimes I still hunt clearcuts. This area has a very low deer population, but the bucks are giants. I often go many days without seeing anything. I need a bullet that will make a marginal shot as effective as possible. Hoping for an ideal shot is simply not an option.
