90 minute gym session, shot 4 dozen arrows, two hour nap. Just picked up my first bow last week, shooting 6” groups of 12 arrows at 20 yds. Not sure if I’ll be ready to shoot an animal this year, but I’ll be practicing like I’m planning on it.
Ha! I would, 20 is the furthest I can shoot in my yard with a safe backstop.Better move to 30. Arrows are expensive.![]()
That's a good idea.Stopped by the range on my way in for a night shift.
Shot a few quivers with my backup release. Definitely saw some variance from the release I had been shooting. I'll have to adjust length a little, as it seemed to feel different at anchor.
Follow up. Shout out to Riverside Archery in Mt Vernon. They checked everything out and put a new peep on. Gave me some tips on tightening groups. Really top notch guysI'm driving an hour to bring my bow into the shop. I fell apart Sunday, arrow fell off the rest at half draw and I bumped my release when I let off. So my string jumped off and my peep is missing. I don't see any limb or string damage.
