The rich are economically benefitting from the lower economic classes, it isnt a matter of republican or democrat. See Mike Bloomberg, or any CEO of a CA tech company.

As a fiscal conservative and registered republican, I believe the continued shift in wealth - call it unbridled capitalism - will be the undoing of America.

It’s always been this way and always will be. I don’t get the envy of someone who is successful.

If I was over 65 and had underlying health conditions I would be concerned about it. As the case is, all I'm concerned about is the smoke and mirrors. The bills that are trying to be pushed through like hr5717 that will ad 30% tax to firearms and 50% tax to ammo and require a fed license to purchase both

There is a 0% chance that will pass.

Be more concerned about realistic bills that may be pushed through like Lindsey Graham's cybersecurity bill.

Give the government and law enforcement 100% access to your email, phone, social media... all for the sake of catching people who want to look at underage pornography, terrorism etc.

This is great to hear!!!

Boeing is bringing back 27,000 employees starting next week in WA. Looks like they already brought back 2,500 people this week.

Edit: I imagine this wont happen over night, but is good news none the less.

Got an email from a youth baseball league in Colorado last night. We go over and play in some of their tournaments. Said Co has passed phase 1 and they are scheduling tournaments again. They are having a tournament first weekend of May.

I hope you are wrong, and that covid-19 and this depression may be what we needed.

The 2017 tax cuts gave 83% of the benefit to the top 1%.

Cooperations used that to buy back stocks and inflated the stock market. Trickle down doesn't happen.

Now they need to be bailed out again and given even more tax cuts, while the low and middle class get a few crumbs.

This most recent tax break:
An 86 billion dollar tax break

16% to people making 100k-1 million.
82% to people making over 1 million

And the working class gets 2%

And for context -
"for those earning $1 million annually, a tax break buried in the recent coronavirus relief legislation is so generous that its total cost is more than total new funding for all hospitals in America and more than the total provided to all state and local governments."

We need wealth redistribution now 🙄

And in today’s headline: people who make more and pay more taxes get more back. This is shocking news!

The Stanford antibody test came out today and estimates that ~3% of Santa Clara County in CA was infected or ~40x the number of confirmed cases.

1833 confirmed cases

Study (linked above) estimates total cases at 44,000 to 81,000

The county had 69 deaths so far.

69 deaths are 0.09% of 81,000 or .16% of 44,000 so far. This will go up as more people will die.

So that's good, right?

Extended in WI through May. Bullshit for rural America if you ask me

Edited Not to sound like a total ass. I was teetering on the line of understanding, but am now fully in the government over reach camp. And before anyone gives me the you don’t know act, I’m front line healthcare, and not staying any safer at home because I’m already out daily.

Very bad news for main stream media and a few misguided people in here that want this to be much worse.
