What are you cooking with your game meat?

we also had elk steaks last night, with garlic mashed `taters and Tahoe Joe's Green Beans which I.....well......stole, from Tahoe Joe's Steakhouse in Roseville CA when i was there some years ago. Here's how you make it (it's easy). dice up a couple of thick-cut bacon slices, and sautee them; while they're cooking, dice some white onions and red bell pepper. toss in the green beans (don't cut them, but toss them in whole). Then toss in the onions and bell pepper, lower the heat and let the beans steam for a little bit, season with garlic powder and salt. it looks good, makes a great side dish, and isn't difficult at all to prepare

I'm an elk hunting failure so whitetail saves the day.

First time cooking heart last night. Cast iron skillet w/ 2 tbs of butter, half an onion chopped coarse, a couple tbs of minced garlic. Cooked the heart a little over a minute each side, then tossed the onions and garlic over it all to season the meat a bit more. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
