I'm trying to get my fit right for my pack, so I'd prefer that. I put a 100 pounds of sand in it today. I have forgotten what a 100 pounds feels like...it's heavy. I'm going to be putting 50 pounds of sand in the pack, and plan on about a 25-30 romp up with that weight in there. Maybe faster though, IDK.

That works for me. Time? 6pm?

I need to reschedule for tomorrow myself. I'm just now getting out of bend. Two hours behind schedule.

Scratch that. I'll be at the trail head at six. On the shorter, more vertical side. Anyone else going?

You guys should lose the sand and use water in your packs. That way you can dump it out at the top and save your knees on the way down. It won't do you any good to be in shape if you blow your knee out.
