If one of the major gripes about WBY nowadays is cost to play, I'd say look at something like the 280 AI, which everyone fawns over (myself included; love that sombish). It's also pretty costly to get into. Ammo's expensive and rather unfindable at times and brass is priced similarly to popular WBY cartridges.
I have never owned a WBY, but have shot a few and I like them. I think the 6 lug is one of the better non-magnum actions on the market. I like the RPMs. I'd buy a Backcountry or High Country lefty if I had the cash.
