This guy is really milking this tikka thing.

I'll check it out, looks like there's two episodes they did on it? I don't really see the issue with backfire's "moa hoax" concept, which is that the average hunter believes his gun shoots MOA but can't consistently print a 5-shot MOA group on demand. It's such a widespread idea that just isn't backed up by the reality of people shooting their own rifles, even at the range. I'm curious if they have any actual criticism of that idea.

So far, just sounds like they're talking down the shooters in the backfire video and talking up their own shooting. Which kind of feels like missing the point?
I think they take it as Jim is blaming the gun and not the shooter or ammo.

I would like Tikka's if they had a decent stock ergo, had more I could do for tinkering. But alas they are perfect for the guy who just wants to get a rifle and shoot it.

I’m surprised they didn’t mention one of the law suits, the kid that was shot by his mother while unloading the kids rifle wasn’t pointed directly at him, but close enough a bullet bounced off the horse trailer into the kid. My mother grew up with rifles in her hand for half a century and I wouldn’t trust her to point a gun at me while unloading it.

Other product liability lawsuit where one kid shot the other while they were walking - what didn’t make the news is a jury in the criminal case found the shooter guilty.

Another liability case had the shooter, who was unfamiliar with the rifle, pull it out of a gun case when it went off. How many of you trust your brain dead cousin Jimmy to point a loaded gun at you while pulling it out of a gun case? The state police couldn’t get the rifle to malfunction.

This design does require maintenance or old oil will gum up causing problems, it used to be considered idiotic to not clean and lightly lubricate firearms, now everything has to be so idiot proof I wonder how the world functions.

I laugh at the “competition” shooters who play gunsmith on the weekend and adjust Remington or Tikka triggers to the point they can’t be dropped on the butt without going off, then complain they don’t work correctly.

Product liability lawsuits over stupid stuff have decimated US manufacturers and will probably be the end of most firearms. We’ll be stuck with guns with 10 lb triggers, electric backup safeties, and who knows what kind of other idiotic regulations. Thanks lawyers.
That little AI blurb was heavily flawed. The Mark Xpro trigger was introduced in response to the problems with the Walker trigger. It was not the one with any issues.

I just went and read the first post on that 24 hours campfire thread. I honestly thought I would never have to hear him talk about his made up failing ejector springs again, but here we are. If I remember correctly he claimed it happened on multiple rifles yet there are guys with 10s of thousands of rounds through their Tikkas without this issue.

The signal to noise ratio at 24HC is horrible.

Shills and trolls screaming over each other gets old.

Ive gone over there a few times just to check it out after it was mentioned here.

Everytime I've checked it out i left wondering why anyone would want to hang around there.

YouTube is just a sad place for gun content these days.
Winning in the wind, some of Eric cortina's stuff, maybe f class John. They're pretty useful. But you have to understand these guys are shooting world class rifles most of the time. Not everyone is. I haven't watched enough of little crow gun works yet to make any intelligent statement there.

And then there's a ton of garbage.
" If I don't count this flyer, this is a great load".
Yeah.

Lots of good information to be found over there, you just have to be thick skinned enough to handle it.

Is there a mobile version for viewing on my phone. I remember that being annoying also.
