WA house passed bill that requires a permit prior to firearm purchase

My wife and I just last night spoke about possibly moving back to the midwest. Something I could have never imagined.
Same here. But not the Midwest. I had enough Nebraska for my whole life already.

As a few others have mentioned, WA has nothing over CO with this. We're just a few steps away from having to take "training" to purchase certain types of scary guns. Bad, scary guns.

We now have to take training to purchase any firearm. Look up WA states firearm laws. I don't think CO holds a candle to the wing nuts out here.

Not quite yet. It just passed the house. Not saying it won’t pass. I don’t see how it wouldn’t pass at this point. I was surprised the insurance requirement didn’t advance farther.

Once again it's the Red vs Blue both ignoring a basic principle.

"Shall not be infringed."

I'd like other states to try and pass laws ignoring other
rights like the 13th, 15th, 19th.

Although the Feds routinely violate them.

Thank goodness we have the Constitution. LOL!!
