Losing *OUR* public lands?

Laws change. They can be challenged in court. They can be done and undone. There is lobbyists infrastructure, highly organized and extremely influential gun rights organizations: systems, methods and influence that do much of the work. If you've been alive for any amount of time, you've seen policy come and go and shift dramatically. There's even an amendment in the constitution to address it. The alarm has been sounded numerous times and its almost always ongoing.
Doesn’t the amendment say “shall not be infringed”? Has it been infringed? Seems to me we have a lot of judges in certain states that don’t care what the constitution says.
The defense of public lands is, by comparison, basically grassroots. And, if the land is sold, there's no getting it back. It has come down to this one moment in time where it be sold or it can be stopped. Of course people are going to be passionate about it.
I’m in no way for selling of public lands, ever.

It is a small win for our continued access to public lands... that Senator Lee withdrew his Federal Public Land Sale proposal from the "Big Beautiful Bill" Saturday night. But this will NOT be the last time Senator Lee or others will try and convince themselves (and the American public) that federal divestment of public lands to private or state holdings is in our best interest....

Please stay educated and vigilant on the subject.

Here are some informational commentaries:

Best way to handle this is to primary that foo. Needs to be a movement to raise some funds for his challengers next cycle.
