Did you read the part about the dead man winning the election in my town? I’d have voted for him over Trump. I guess that I just dislike him more than you do.

I agree with you, it is the fault of the Democratic party that Trump was elected and I’ve never been a Democrat. Trump has more time as a Democrat than I do. Hopefully we can get beyond Trump and fringe ideology from both parties and start fielding better candidates.

Is is our civic duty, and thankfully our right to vote for who we want to. I may not agree with your choice but I absolutely support your right to make it.

Hate to break it to you, but, MAGA is here to stay. What you saw last night is the direction we are going in this nation. We got a dose of what evil and degeneracy lies waiting. America rejected it with a full on mandate. We answered Dan Bongino’s question “is it bad enough”.

This election wasn’t about just winning. The people have seen how quickly everything can be taken away, including your freedom and voice. This isn’t the end, this is the beginning. After Trump finishes his term, We The People will vote for a candidate that will carry the torch and continue to implement and protect the policies set in place. My hope is that as Trump departs the White House in 4.5 years he is asked what kind of government he is leaving us. His answer should mimic that of Benjamin Franklin when he replies “a republic, if you can keep it”.

Your girl Kamala nailed it when she said, “We’re not going back”. Lol. Let me tell you, we’re not!

I guess so, I’ll have to check to see if that’s an accurate accusation. It was either that or a guy who was banging a porn star when his wife was home with their newborn and taped while bragging about sexually assaulting women. As the father of two daughters I find that a bit more troubling character flaw. One man’s opinion.

As a father of two daughters you should read Ashleigh Biden’s diary….

With all due respect - and talking about myself only as guy who voted (R) - you are wrong on a level that would probably surprise you. I VERY seriously doubt you get/read info from a wider variety than I do. Your comment pigeonholes (R) voters to the extent that it acts as evidence against your claim.

But - to each his own, said the old lady as she kissed the cow.
OFB, I apologize if my post was taken as a blanket reply to all Republican voters. I erred when trying to reply to Wyo hunter’s generalization about people who don’t support Trump making an uninformed decision. I did not and do not mean to pigeon hole any Republican voters as uninformed. I was a Republican for far longer than I’ve been an Independent. As another poster stated in this thread it is our civic duty to vote and our right to choose who we think will best serve the people of our nation.

Still too close for a state that is supposedly strongly red. There some Midwest states where a trump won by 30+%.

I’m disappointed in my fellow Texans.

Oh and mail in, drop off or any other type than in person should not even be allowed, except in extreme circumstances like overseas deployed military or 100% disabled.

Get your ass to the polls in person and vote.

Bring on the flames, I can handle the heat

Try telling my 92 year old father he can’t vote by mail….

Mike drop emoji aside, Biden was not a choice in this election. I have not read her diary or that reference but I would be sincerely amazed, and greatly saddened for all the women affected, if Biden’s sexual assault talley of allegations surpasses Trump’s. It would be a large number indeed.

Did you ever serve with any military leaders? If you did, thank you for your service, and I’m sorry that your experiences with them left you with such a poor opinion of military leadership. By and large the men I served with (no women on submarines when I was in) were fine, patriotic Americans who sacrificed to keep our country strong.
Mid level leaders are by and far fine.

High level leaders are politicians. It's the only way they got there.

Can you clarify what has been taken away, including freedoms and voices? I'm not aware of any other than some state restrictions on firearms.

We’ve had some of the biggest threats to the first amendment I’ve seen in my lifetime, government collusion with social media companies and the legacy media has been egregious..

I’ve spent enough time on this thread and I’m certain I’ve changed no minds. If you voted for Trump as the lesser of two evils, as I said repeatedly above, I can understand that and sincerely hope that you are right and I am wrong. If you love him and what he stands for, I don’t understand that but that’s OK too. I hope that you are right and I am wrong also. I’ve certainly been wrong before and will be again. I hope that you all have an enjoyable and successful time during the remainder of your seasons.

Best to you.

Still asking if you’ve ever served with any to form that opinion. I served with a few that became high level leaders, quite a few that became O-6s, through hard work and dedication to our country. Fine men.

Innocent people locked up for being guided into the capital by actual Capitol police, Steve Bannon having law fair used against him and serving time, freedom to have a job without having an experimental jab shoved in your arm in order to keep your job, freedom to go in public without being forced to wear a mask that shows ZERO benefits…. (FYI, I’m unvaxed and refused masks but I own my company)

How about being banned or locked out of every social media or heavily shadow banned (all of which happened to me), having posts deleted for “conspiracy theories” or “misinformation” whether it was covid or the sham 2020 election.

Watching renowned Dr’s that are the top of the top in their field being silenced and completely deplatformed from social media and the internet for not walking the line on the BS plandemic, seeing the same Dr’s have their credentials and license stripped from them to prevent them from proactive.

I mean, that’s just a few things that I was able to throw out off the top of my head.
