8” oal- 4” and 4”.
That rifle has a 16” barrel.
These specs open up a number of options for AR builds, trying to balance OAL and velocity. This is some pretty interesting stuff.

Preorder?????!? FML
The problem will be back pressure with this can.
I'm not a mini action aficionado, and simply have to say "I don't know."Unless you made it the same foorprint as a Howa mini, there aren't any mini actions with any aftermarket support for stocks, bottom metal, etc., right? Or am I missing one?
I would personally underwrite the rokstok inlet setup work and even a new mold if necessary. Shortening the outer dimensions of a tikka mag just as the inner dimensions are restricted by spacers is not trivial but it’s also not rocket science.

That's an even better idea. ICAR mag profile for the Russian bolt face cartridges, and a spacer to STANAG for 223.+1 for a mini tikka.
One caveat: It would be unbelievably short-sighted to not make it compatible with AR mags. Even if adding a release complicates things. It makes a yes/purchase the easy answer. Nobody's forced into proprietary mags, everyone has a stash of their own already, they make training easier by volume and pre-prep of mags, and people can make their own choices far more easily on what capacity they want to hunt with or train with.
Very much so. Deer are matriarchal. If you drop the matriarch at impact- not a twitch; generally the herd doesn’t react much- they kind of kill about until another doe starts to take charge and leave. If you can spot her and drop her on the spot, it starts over. So one and so forth. I have killed entire deer herds without them leaving the field doing that.
This year hunting elk with Ryan Avery and his uncle, I killed the matriarch in the timber at about 30 yards. The herd ran out to about 450y and milled about looking back at them for 5-10 minutes. Then moved out to about 900 yards and stood around for 10’ish minutes again. They didn’t want to leave. They eventually wondered out into a cut.
A mini action tikka in a RokStok lite that takes AR mags?…. I’m in. Take my money.Point well taken
Tikka compatible PPC/ARC bolts are already on the docket for 2025.
The mini action has definitely been discussed and is in the running for a near future project. There’s a few logistics involved, but it’s on the list of possibilities.
Our goal as a receiver manufacturer is to fill voids in the industry and produce high quality, hunting specific actions. A mini certainly checks off those boxes.
