I have the version of that with the E1 reticle and it's sitting on top of my 9.3x62 right now, but I haven't shot it on there yet.I have a 2-7 Burris Fullfield II that weighs 12oz with ballistic plex reticle.

According to Strelock (should be pretty good ballpark):I’m one of those guys who has an iPhone tied to my work so I’ve never been able to get Strelock to work. Could you look at the 87gr v max going 2600 and 2640 and see how power lines up?

At 2,600, 1.7" high @ 100Y and 7.5x lines you up pretty well out to at least 450Y

Thank you!Awesome! Great buck. I think you have the range-on-game record now for an UL-U,... time for @Taudisio to get busy with his 6x45.
What bullet/velocity/optics were you shooting?
Yeah, I love my 3x micro prism but my "long" shots where I hunt with that are under 100 yards.Thank you!
77 TMK, 2750 fps MV, 5x PA Microprism with Mil reticle.
I found the Microprism a little lacking for brightness and magnification in lower light during my hunt. The early evening shadows and the gray deer had me holding off on taking a 350 yard shot the evening prior. I could see well enough, but not as well as I would prefer for a confident shot or have experienced with conventional scopes.
Beautiful coues deer and nice shot!View attachment 977907
Got a nice Coues buck with my .223 ULUL at 400 yards. I was holding for the neck/shoulder juncture in hopes of an immediate drop, as most of the exit options for this buck were going to make for a painful and lengthy recovery. Shot landed a little right onto the neck, so it worked out. Recovered the bullet in the offside skin, then forgot it on a rock next to my pack

The terrain was pretty steep and rocky, and I packed my camp back a ways carrying water, so I was glad to have the light rifle for this hunt.

It sounds like time is limited, so you may better off going with the Jag.Afternoon everyone, so I've started to build out a ulul based on a bca side charger. I honestly don't have time to read through all 200 pages, so I was hoping that someone could give me a real quick answer. I'm trying to determine if it's worth the time & effort to build a carbon fiber handguard, or just order the jag composites. I've got a workshop and could build one out if it's a viable option. And if building one is the answer, what barrel nut is everyone using? Thanks for any info.

Shatters the previous record by 66 yards! If it's the record, I had better be exact416 yards.
I have used 3 different barrel nuts. Get a barrel nut first. The solo is about the lightest, but shorter than some. Measure the OD of nut. Order carbon tube off amazon with the same inside diameter. Drill and tap some holes for 8 or 10 mm hex head screws.Afternoon everyone, so I've started to build out a ulul based on a bca side charger. Any of you have a recommendation for a carbon fiber guard with a small arca adaptor? Factory or DIY? (Clearly wanting to keep the weight down but willing to accept the penalty.)
I have gotten spoiled to shooting off a tripod!
DIY all the way. Cut a piece off of an aluminum arca rail, then make a spacer (3D Printer works great) then rough up the surface of both pieces and the carbon tube, then JB weld it together with original cold weld formula. Mine has held together for at least 300 rounds and is still going strong. Or you could 3D Print the whole arca piece (I've made a ring that goes around the carbon tube with the arca piece built it, and it worked well).Any of you have a recommendation for a carbon fiber guard with a small arca adaptor?
