Ultralight Ultralight Rifles

Any of you have a recommendation for a carbon fiber guard with a small arca adaptor? Factory or DIY? (Clearly wanting to keep the weight down but willing to accept the penalty.)

I have gotten spoiled to shooting off a tripod!
DIY all the way. Cut a piece off of an aluminum arca rail, then make a spacer (3D Printer works great) then rough up the surface of both pieces and the carbon tube, then JB weld it together with original cold weld formula. Mine has held together for at least 300 rounds and is still going strong. Or you could 3D Print the whole arca piece (I've made a ring that goes around the carbon tube with the arca piece built it, and it worked well).

the Weiser sparrow (for binoculars) may also be worth a look. Let’s you use your trekking pole as well for stability.

Great idea! I think the Aziak would be better because it’s not offset like the sparrow. Might have to go measure my hand guard and order one!

Anyone done these on a 6arc yet?

Yep! Using a bear creek side charge (pre their bolt side charge) and their $60 barrel that is 30 oz. Shoots very well, no issues getting under moa with 5-10 round groups. I’ve shot it at a long range shooting school. Shot right with some very expensive rifle setups. Somewhere around 350 rounds on mine
