Truck rental from Fairbanks to Manly Hot Springs

We need to get from Fairbanks to Manly Hot Springs to fly out for a 2027 moose hunt.

Most rental companies (hertz, avid, etc.) dont allow their rentals on The Elliott Hwy/Haul Road and other rentals (AK auto, AK 4x4) is about $4k for 2 weeks.

Any other solutions?

Ask the people you're flying out with if they know of someone who can pick you up and take you back after your hunting, for a few hundred $$.

They offer the service, but its $2k/person.

If $2K round trip there and back to Fairbanks with your meat/gear, might be your best option.

Could ask Wright Air for a charter price there and back. Cessna 206 going, caravan back to town. Think they may still do the mail runs for manley and minto, maybe there's an op to rule out.
