Curious if any of you transport your rifle in the back of a pickup truck. What do you store them in.
? How do you secure them from bouncing around or preventing them from being stolen? Do you have a way to lock them. Looking for ideas

If you are talking about while on the road, I put them in a hard case (Pelican or similar) and take them in hotels with me at night.

They would usually be in the cab or in the back under the topper - I wouldn’t leave them in either place at night while in a motel. My current truck has a lockable diamondback. I haven’t taken a road trip with my guns in it yet but I plan to leave my gear, including guns, in that. One of the advantages is that someone cannot see what, if anything, is locked in the bed. The security of the DB is one of the main reasons I got it, along with the price of toppers these days.

Put em in the back seat, not the truck bed. ;) And yes - bring them inside at night if stopping somewhere.

They fit on the floor behind the driver seat.
They fit on stuff piled behind the driver seat.
They fit on the back bench seat.

You can also put em in a soft case and stand em up behind the front seats.

In a soft case then inside a hard case. Preferably backseat but could be back of truck if topper or tonneau covered. Inside hotel at night.

Put it in a soft case and throw it in the backseat with other gear. I wouldnt leave my valuables out in the parking lot of any hotel.

Soft case on the backseat. Always bring them
in at night as well as my daypack, optics, camera, etc.

Mine is in a Savior soft case shoved under the back seat (Ford).

I have one of these draped over my seats for kids so it's not visible unless you peek.

There might be a shotgun and a pistol safe under there too, who knows?
