Great taste. That is exactly my plan. Hydro dip the stock in Highlander, and cerakote the barrel and action in tan or brown. I assumed it would look good, now I know, it looks great.

Thanks guys. The metals are cerakoted magpul flat dark earth. Stock is hydro dipped kryptek highlander. The bolt is cerakote burnt bronze.

id like the scope and rings to match the barrel, that tan color is pretty cool.

Brock inspired me. Painted my stock on my older 30-06. Having it rebarreled soon to a 338-06. I like how it turned out. I just bought a tikka superlite in 30-06 and will paint it as well.

I hit it with some sandpaper I had laying around. Not sure if the grit. Hit it with the air hose and mineral spirits. Used a grey primer, black webbing, and matte finish. I think it will be good. I'm taking it hunting next week and will see how it holds up.

I hand loaded a 140 barnes TSX with RL 22 and got almost 3600 fps with 1" groups at 200yd out of mine! gona be putting it in a bell&carlson stock after this hunting season.. Its a sweet lil lazerbeam to 500yd. farther than that I shoot the 168 bergers I hand rolled to 3015fps and they can reach out there!!!
