Sorry for the delay in updating. I broke the rifle down and deleted the plastic barrel nub on the stock. I also remounted the scope and base. Everything felt solid after remounting.
After picking up another box of Hornady 175 precision hunter and CX 160s I hit the range. The 175s grouped just under 1.5 moa at 100 yards. I was still a little underwhelmed. The 160 CXs grouped better. I took a picture of the best group. Unfortunately I didn’t have my calipers but the circle is an inch so I would say it was just over an inch group.
After seeing the gun like the 160 CXs the best I’m going to order more lighter loads and see what happens.
Overall I’m happier with how this range trip went. As long as I’m getting around a moa with factory stock and loads I’m happy. Eventually the rifle will be moved to a MDT LSS Gen 3 chassis when it’s released for Tikka long actions.
More updates to follow!
Where were you able to find one? EuroOptic still shows the lefties not in stock yet and my local dealer says they can't get them yet.I just picked up a left hand tikka T3 lite in 7mm PRC today and it’s barrel and box both say 1-8 twist as well.
A quick measurement shows the barrel is around 22 3/8 long

No lefty T3X lite on either of their sites yet.Try Scheels or Sportsman’s Warehouse
Be careful about having the barrel cut if you want to stick with 5/8x24 threads. It is my understanding that the new threaded Tikka Lites have a flared muzzle to be able to use 5/8x24.No lefty T3X lite on either of their sites yet.
I can be to Euro in less than 1.5hours, so I can save on transfer and shipping fees if I can wait them out. Then I can drop it at RW Hart on my way home and have them trim the tube to 19" and be threaded for my can.
I have a Left-handed T3X SS coming in tomorrow "hopefully". Ill get a out of the box weight and post when I get it.Anyone have the actual weight of this particular rifle?
That’s a typo or somebody not reading correctly. Is the twist a 1:8 ? The S2H guys were saying it was listed as a 1:9
Same. I've seen some stores and sites post that they 1:9 but if you look at the rifles them self they are stamped 1:8.My factory Tikka 7prc is 1:8 twist. 22" and 5/8"×24tpi
