Putting together a suppressed mountain hunting rifle and looking for input from guys who have run similar setups. Building this primarily for a Colorado bighorn sheep hunt this fall, with elk and moose in the future. I had a shoulder replacement so recoil management is a genuine medical priority — not just a comfort thing.

**The Build:**
- Rifle: Tikka T3x Lite Stainless 22" threaded — 7mm Rem Mag
- Optic: Leica Amplus 6 3-18x44i (L-Ballistic 2 MOA BDC, SFP)
- Rings: Unknown Munitions Tikka 30mm Low 1.05" — direct dovetail, no rail
- Arca Rail: Salmon River Armory full-length no-drill T3x mount
- Recoil Pad: Limbsaver AirTech #10826 (T3x precision fit)
- Suppressor: Thunderbeast Magnus S-RR CB 30
- Sling: Slik Sling v3 + g1

Total suppressed weight comes out to just under 10 lbs, which feels like a reasonable trade for what I'm getting out of the setup.

**On the Magnus S-RR specifically** — I landed on it because the RR endcap's 60%+ recoil reduction on big magnums is exactly what I need, and the S size keeps length and weight more manageable than the full Magnus RR. Stack that with the Limbsaver and I'm supposedly down to around 7 ft-lbs of felt recoil at the shoulder, which is the goal.

Looking for input on:
1. Overall build — anything you'd do differently for a mountain/alpine setup?
2. Magnus S-RR vs full Magnus RR on a 7mm Rem Mag — is the extra suppression of the full RR worth the added length and weight, or is the S-RR the right call? Or another suppressor altogether?
3. Anyone running the UM Tikka rings — any issues with return to zero after removing/reinstalling the suppressor?
4. Any gotchas with the CB mount system I should know before committing?

Appreciate any input — trying to get this dialed in asap.
