The Shoot2hunt Podcast

You can call it the Durka Durka Wowwy Powwy ...

If the scope somehow ever gets picked up for mil use the name "Durka Deleter" would work

Yes, please name it The Chode, lol.

Case rim slot on turret caps - nice.

Bottom reticle post is a little claustrophobic, but I’ve never used one like that, so I’ll go along. I guess I never hold for elevation anyway…

What’s the black marker on the parallax knob hiding - the illumination button?

Why not call it the RSS?

What’s the prototype weigh? Length?

The fat AF vertical post that close to the crosshairs is a dislike for me too. Does it really need to be that big? Couldn't you just make it like 0.15 mil thick and still see it easily? Looks like 0.8 mil+ thick. Why?

Playlist doesn’t cover the question, but was a good rewatch. Without knowing the height of the hashes I might guess/suggest that they could be utilized for milling a known size object (let’s say 18” or 36”).
If you check out the ZP5 eval and Q&A threads, I posted the marked-up reticle with dimensions in one of those - that might help.

But at 3X, it will shine, allowing you to get on target even in low, light. As you go up in magnification it will increasing spread further to the outer edges leaving a nice 1 mil box and some mil hash marks and a pretty wide open view of your target. What’s not to like? I’m ready to pre-order one now!

Would fit right in with the other jargon inside-joke style bad names at UM. OG SixFive. OG. OGL. Shoot2Hunt. HAHA.

They’re improving naming conventions with Raven, RokStock (which is just an ok name), Reaper, etc.
One of UM/S2H's marketing challenges seems to be that because they don't take themselves too seriously (generally a good thing) that they think it's okay for their products to have 'joke' names - which is not always a good thing for marketing to customers, especially those who don't already know who you are.

It also makes it harder for those of us who want to support them to recommend them to others, and have that recommendation taken seriously.

I suspect (and hope) that as UM/S2H mature as businesses, they'll realise that they need to be more relatable to new customers, and they need to be able to be taken seriously if they want to have wider appeal.

Form said the second reticle is a simplified mil. So there is another option to choose from for those who don't like the THLR
