I'm not really understanding why there are "drop days" for deposits if demand exceeds supply. Feels like the solution to this inventory cashflow issue is just to offer an option to pay full freight for the scopes upfront...

I.e., if you want to pay a $100 deposit and defer the rest of the cost, you have to put the deposit on the drop day; but if you're willing to finance the production (pay $1000) upfront, you should be able to get in line whenever.

I do think your missing the risk of having that much money if a bad shipment arrives which isn't unheard of in terms of S2H suppliers.

I sure hope these live up to the hype.
I’m using Nxs 2.5-10x42 milr and really hate the ultra thin cross hairs.
There will be two for sale if these pan out.

Both

People are placing orders for thousands of dollars based on the ones out right now
I think that’s not exactly the full picture.
It’s a $100 down payment so the buy in isn’t as big as people are making it out to be.
I’m sure once it’s time to pay up the other $900 there will be plenty of people that drop out.

Lmao OK

Anything but suggesting to do a typical and easily located field evaluation for the scope built around field evaluations showing the market has a need this exact scope is filling.

I’ve got 3 on order. I expect it to work, but it’s weird that there isn’t a normal field evaluation of the prototype if the real thing is going to be identical as we are told.

From what I can tell the test was done, it’s just hidden away in a hard to find format. Making it simple and clear for people isn’t that big of an ask

Do you think at this point, the evaluation would ever be negative?

I'm not sure what you are wanting out of an "official normal field eval". If you put 100% stock into Form's evals, he essentially has done it and told you it's a good scope.
