As a business owner I will offer MRC some free advice. Raise the price of the Junction to a point where the cry babies have other things to cry about.

@Formidilosus the sako85 action, crf 3 lug, very smooth, dbl stack dbl feed detach mags like an aiaw(4-6rds), Tikka esque trigger. If a t3x has consistent headspace, the 85 likely did too. I know they've now upgraded to the S90 non crf. Was the sako 85 anywhere close to being the aiaw of hunting actions? It ticks a lot of the boxes. I had one for 3 years in 300wsm from 2013-2016 before selling it, thing ran very well, on a rare occasion a feeding issue was had, but DSDF from a Wsm I wasn't surprised.
Interesting over barrel design like the J Sip and Sons suppressor.
The overall design is fine and reliable from a general standpoint, the ejection angle just sucks with most scopes having the turret on ejection side hitting shells, or the shell hitting the physical scope tube. This is also exacerbated by users being "limp" with their bolt cycles. If you run the bolt with a bit of purpose as you know/do, most shells bouncing back into the action goes away. No, the 85’s were plagued with ejection issues. They probably were the overall worse design Sako has produced. The S20’s and it seems the S90’s are good designs and work well though.
Another perspective to add.. I have owned guns my whole life but mostly hunted waterfowl. The last 3 years I ventured into the backpack hunting world and have been hooked. This past black tail season an equipment failure cost me the buck of my life and I put in 6 days of work to get that one shot opportunity. This is specifically what lead me to rokslide and so the research began. I told myself I would never put my body through that again just to come up empty handed due to a failure that was preventable.
With that being said, after pouring over the threads and listening to podcasts I started to get an idea of not only where I went wrong but what steps I need to take in order to increase my success rate. The only problem with this is due to work and raising 4 kids the time that I do get away is typically dedicated to a few 3-7 day solo hunts a year. Literally everything else is dedicated to the kids soccer, dance, gymnastics my union and job.
The point is, I realized that I don’t have the time right now to teach myself the right way of how to make my rifle more capable of performing under the conditions I put it through. Sure, I could give it a hell of a try, but the chances of me screwing it up is definitely a factor. This skill set is learned over years and years of trial and error and experience in the field. Huge shout out to all of you on here who are well versed in firearms from a technical standpoint. I truly do envy your knowledge and abilities.
When the Marshal pre order dropped it checked all my boxes so I commited. If UM/MRC deliver on their word then I know that all I will need to do is put one of the scopes on that has passed the evals on this forum and I will have a dependable rifle that is ready to take a beating in the backcountry.
Call me crazy for putting this much faith into some random members of a forum on the internet but the experience and information that is shared on here holds a ton of weight in my eyes. Form, I really hope we get the chance to cross paths one day. Your (and others) post history has established credibility and your endorsement of this build was one of the main reasons why I felt comfortable spending the money on it.
That’s all we get? You fondled it… Anymore observations? Why are you definitely buying one?I fondled the new suppressor at UM's booth today. I was very impressed. I'll definitely be buying at least one.

It felt really solid yet not very heavy. Plus, it only adds 4". It feels way sturdier than my Scythe. That’s all we get? You fondled it… Anymore observations? Why are you definitely buying one?
When do they take orders?I was also impressed with the 4 in 4 out concept of this suppressor. Couple more ounces than my scythe but overall shorter barrel lenght and no doubt will balance better spreading the wieght over a longer distance![]()

I feel like they told me but don't remember exactly sorryWhen do they take orders?
I walked out with one today….When do they take orders?
Yeah that’s good advice, thank you.Same way I landed here. Give up one of the hunting trips and sign up for a shoot2hunt class, prob is you’ll want to shoot more when you get home.
