But here's the real question: Do you sell or just buy more at a better price?

Like someone said early, almost paying for a AK moose hunt. Well I wanna pay for an AK sheep hunt and think I’m gonna need to add to my current position to do so. Lol. Add a bunch and set up some stop limits and cross my fingers.

Very nice! I have 60,0000 and should have added more.
Fantastic! I didn't have the stones to go that far in.

That 164K buy is from 'MrDayTraitor' on Stockwits....20 year old kid, and frankly he's been the glue holding a bunch of us in this thing. He may end up a millionaire in a couple of years. Time will tell.

I wanted to add today, but simply couldn't find a solid dip. Hunt123 is probably right, there should be a sell off on Friday.
One would think the small cap oil market will go ape sh!t mañana based on this news...but who knows. This market is crazy.

Have any oil you're currently eyeing to load up on with the feds backing possibly coming through?

You guys are braver then me buying CDEV. Their performance sucked long before this virus. Garbage time!

Honestly I don't know. Companies like FET, GTE, maybe CHAP, etc. should react positively. I say this because I hold them and they simply aren't moving like CPE, CDEV, HLX.....possibly indicating they are on the bubble. Knowing the little I do about trading I think the whole freakin sector will react positively to the news. But again, all of it is above my pay grade. I read voraciously, but as Okhot mentioned, helluva lot of collusion and manipulation goes on. Trust 10% of what you read.

I looked at CDEV with people talking about it. A few years ago I got to chasing rockets, dealing crypto, pennies. I made a ton! Until I didn’t lol. I learned my lesson, make a profit, don’t be greedy or stay in because of FOMO. Get out when you like what you have not what you are dreaming it could be. It’s slower paced, but way easier on the heart rate!

I think everyone who starts trading eventually experiences this. I know I did and it cost me a bunch of profit money. I kept thinking I had the next big thing stock. I was up over 20x my investment and left it in.... You guessed it, lost almost all my profit and learned a good lesson.

Nah, dunno.
To me, holding is investing. That's the slower pace. If anything, the quick turnaround is the greed. Many, many pump and dump shorts bailed on this one this week only to miss the real train.

Sure there is risk, but there is also reward. If you actually believe in a company and the possiblity that it will weather the storm that takes some cojones and then, hopefully the prize.
It's important to remember that this stuff is what it is. If one has a good wife and kids hug em, they are where it's at.

yeah I just got caught up in a few that went up 200% and was thinking 1000% then in a day while I’m working it dropped back to almost nothing on bad news. Now I’m just happy with steady. I do play a little craps table but small amounts because it keeps it interesting.

I don’t give a rip what their performance was pre-WuFlu. Their stock, like almost all stocks right now, was undervalued. Given how cheap the buy in is/was, the risk is more than worth the reward. I bought in at .40 cents and again at .79 cents. I’ve done very well with it. Everyday I adjust my stop loss orders so that I don’t risk losing much of what I’ve gained. You tell me where the downside is here.

I have been looking at that one a bit. High debt, Charles Lake project on hold. It’s hard now because everything is moving up, hard not to make money in those conditions. It’s when it pauses it gets rough

I added more CDEV on the dip this morning at 1.11 to avg up to .60, also got into GTE yesterday for another hope and prayer oil play. Thanks Broomd for the tip on GTE!

Im learning more about how volume affects stocks like this and volume is still pretty low and it looks a lot like CDEV when it was .28 or so. Once it gets discovered I think it’ll pump up over time with oil news. I have kept buying CDEV and have a much much bigger position there. Going to look at GTE the same way, if it goes up, but 1k shares on the dips and follow it up, but if she goes under tomorrow I won’t cry. That’s my position on it.

I also was watching CPE and almost bought yesterday, but didn’t. Oh well, o don’t think any of us predicted this crazy run the past 3 days

Well, one more day. ( swore I wouldn't but too tempting lol). Sold 70 percent of oil related last night ( kept climbing after close) I looked last night after trading at futures and couldn't resist one more day. Picked up 20 k shares of GTE at around .31, Adding to FET all week at lows (75k shares now and hope it pays off) and finally up some today 10 percent. More CDEV at low, 3 k shares of HLX, REI, CHAP ( 42 per cent up!!!!), AXAS at low . Added another 50 shares of GUSH.

Hang on long term to GUSH, CDEV and probably FET.

Tomorrow has to be different
