Yukon…go time

Amazing write-up! Congrats to your son on an incredible ram an caribou! An experience I'm sure neither of you will EVER forget! That's what its all about!

Dad of the year right hear. Strong work Sir! And kudos to the Outfitter/Guide/Wrangler. In my estimate they did every damn thing possible to make this a success. One can only hope to receive the same amount of effort from an Outfit. Outstanding all around. Your son will never ever forget this.

Congratulations to you and your son. That caribou is a stud. Nice ram too, did the outfitter get an age on it? I count at least 8.

Amazing outfit. Truly.

The bad thing about Fannin sheep is that there are only a small handful of outfitters that have em. The good thing is that the outfitter we used is the best I’ve worked with for any animal. And I’ve done a lot of outfitted/guided hunts. He genuinely wants you to be successful and does whatever he can (short of carrying you up the mountain) to make it happen. Their guides have all been with the outfit for a long time. I think our guide may have had the least tenure of the guides within the operation and this was his 6th year. That says a lot.

Logistics from day one was great. Camp and everything about the hunt was well organized. Food in camp was great. Their horses, equipment and cabins were all quality and well maintained.

From hunters to staff I never witnessed a bad mood. The importance of that can’t be overstated.

If I was going to book another Fannin hunt or if Mountain Caribou was a priority in my life then I would 100000% book with them again. I’m talking with my wife now about trying to book a moose hunt for myself and my other son. I’ve had too many mediocre (and bad) experiences with outfitters. When you find a good one you jump in with both feet.
