Crazy day for sure! It's like st. Patty's day it is so green. Sold Cdev, mro. My portfolio is up over 6% today. Probably should sell UAL and BA, but I swore I'm in it for the long haul. Last 3 weeks has almost paid for an AK guided moose hunt. Haha. #Goals

Just wish I had more shares! haha

How do you set your stop loss with this one?
NO STOP LOSS at this point.

That's the game, roll the dice, keep the buy average and make the serious kwan.

Edit>>>> if this stock keep rolling, I'll set a stop order well below current price. Enough to guarantee some of the serious gains made, but one that hopefully won't be triggered to lose the buy price. Long hold here.

It’s been a hell of a day for me. I’m up 35% in my Webull account and up 10% in my Robinhood account (both for the day %). I went in and set some stop limit sell orders on some of the better ones. I’m not going to lose that profit.

Even my, er I mean, my friend's crappy investment (QUAD) from last summer that was down 50% is suddenly within 13% of break even. Things are looking up.

Don't blame you a bit....stop orders are important for most buys.

CPE is having a good day. Can't remember who mentioned that one earlier, but a sincere thanks for the suggestion.

Yep, almost to .80..... I'm in at .50 with 3K shares. Pulling hard today... It's a HOLD for me. This could mirror our other flier! I have a 2000 GTC + ext buy order set for .64 but doubt it will hit.

The only thing that I can say right now is that the s&p 500 was tested again today and that support failed.
Tomorrow we will see what comes out of the FOMC meeting. I have no idea what that will be, but everyone is going to react. The question is which way. If the s&p 500 breaks through 2892, we may have a bull charge. If it breaks 2920, then I’m gonna start thinking upward
So...I guess we broke through 2920!
What a day

I think it’s really funny how all the economist and so-called professionals in the stock market have been all over the map with their predictions over the last couple months. I almost feel like, coming from someone that’s a self-professed idiot when it comes to the stock market, I could predict just about anything and be no more right or wrong than anybody else’s predictions. We’re headed towards a recession, we’re headed towards depression, it’s going to be a V-shaped recovery, it’s going to be a W-shaped recovery, It’s going to take years and years to recover from this, yada yada yada, and this has all been said in the last month. I guess, in the end, someone will probably be right, and most will probably be wrong, we’ll just have to see.

I'm not buying anything right now. This market is trading like it's 1999 with the irrational exuberance. A few more days and the major indexes will be higher than their highs in February.......without the earnings to support even close to that. These valuations make it look like earnings will grow by 6%........not recede by 50+ percent. SMH This is definitely not a fundamentals market right now.

Late to the game on CPE. What are your thoughts on this company? Kind of looks like a solid buy and hold. Worth jumping in at .80? Have a feeling this one will take off here

"The trouble began for Callon when it made a risky acquisition at exactly the wrong time. In December, it acquired fellow Texas shale E&P Carrizo Oil and Gas. Callon was already a 100% Texas shale play (and remains so), but now it's taken on $1.7 billion of Carrizo's debt. That bumped Callon's total long-term debt to $3.2 billion, or 4.5 times trailing EBITDA, in exchange for Texas shale acreage that's now of questionable value."

Doesn't seem to be as safe of a buy as CDEV due to their high volume of debt. Still curious what others think. Need oil to rebound sooner than later or some fed assistant to keep some of these companies afloat.

CPE just rocketed to .94 after hours, good lord. It's almost doubled in two days, or is it one day? I hardly know anymore, these o'dark thirty Pacific time chart mornings are killing me.

..edit...looks like .51 on Monday.

So I mentioned CVNA a week or so ago and curious what everyone's opinion is of it? I bought at almost the extreme low a couple weeks back and it has over 3x'd my money. I am thinking with the Social distancing staying around longer, this could become an ever increasingly more popular way to purchase vehicles. In concept, it is amazing, no more salesman and very easy to get exactly what you want. Seriously debating taking my profits and running vs. long term play.
