I saw your post. Iv been digging for a while now since learning my threads are too long. I think I’m going to do the same as you and do it right the first time. Not worth chancing 600$. On top of that sounds like a lot of complaints of innacuracy are due to threads being too long. This is a varmint gun for me, so 16” will be nice with the suppressor.
The only other thing I could not stand on my t1x was the plastic bolt shroud. Found out sterk makes an aluminum option.
It has an integrated dove tail but you may want to dig into the specs.
You have to use the washer included with the Sparrow.
Mine has a nikon 4-16 and it works good for that.
I have had the Leupold Freedom AO version before and it was trouble free as a set and forget kind of guy at 50 yards. A little bit of a nuisance trying to shoot farther because there wasn't much indication of clicks.

Well its primary purpose is to dispatch varmints, so a 50 yrd zero then dial to 100 etc.
You need a 17hmr! Point and click to a hundred.
It's to loud for the hood.
It’s got some snap, it’s a supersonic round. With a suppressor you get the snap but the blast is very quiet. Shooting ground squirrels this summer with it at 10 yards the impact was the loudest thing.
