Why?That football shape wound is the one I am looking for.
Why?That football shape wound is the one I am looking for.
Why?
Did I miss it earlier or is there a specific reason that Bergers are left out of the discussion?
Not really too frangible. The ELD-M has more of a round shape to the wound channel which is quite effective, whereas the ELD-X is typically more of an elongated football. That football shape wound is the one I am looking for.
Any of them would be perfectly fine for killing- ELD-M, ELD-X, 112gr MB, Hornady 105gr HPBT, DTAC NR, etc. I am just being picky.
I have not seen the Hornady 105 HPBT mentioned much before. Is this HPBT more predictable then others?

You gotta love those 6mm's!! Sure a nice looking rifle you built. This is a picture of my son with his first elk he shot with one shot at 350 yards with his Ruger MKII in 6mm Remington. It was taken with a 90gr. Nosler E-tip at about 3200 fps. He hit her tight behind her right shoulder and the bullet exited the center of her left shoulder. She staggered about 20 yards and tipped over. 6mm Remington's a good one too!A small ten year old girl used the 6UM on a
Cow elk. The shot was 350 yards. The elk was broadside the shot was through the lower third of the lungs the exit was dramatic. The 6UMs biggest attribute might be the lack of recoil for a round with this much pop.

would a 6prc loaded with 570 shooting 115gr bullets out of a 20 in barrel be able to hit 3100 fps MV without pressure signs??
Like the idea of a fast 6; not wanting to fireform brass for a 6UM

Is this happening?Peterson said they would consider a run of 6UM when they run 6.5 and 7 SAUM.
Sounds like we would need to order 50k pieces or more.
