Does anyone hunt/shoot with the reg ss 10x around low light without issues?

I deer hunted with mine tonight. This is the first year having this scope so I constantly compare it to my Zeiss 10x binos and can't tell any useable difference. I can easily shoot until 30 min after sunset per the law.

Ordered one that shipped on the 3rd and was originally slated to arrive the 6th. It sat at the first location for 4 days before going to fort worth. It's now " late but moving through the network" with no location given. SWFA is having some interesting luck with usps juding by this thread.

Mine is in the same exact situation. All of these usps hangups are quite weird!

ETA: My package has been in Kansas City twice, and St. Louis twice. Mind you, it's coming from Michigan going to South Dakota.

yeah mine is coming from texas to nevada. I am kicking myself over and over again picking USPS. the absolute worst!!

All shippers have weirdness and it also varies by locations. USPS around chrismas time can get a little extra finicky but to be honest is generally fairly decent in my opinion.

Again certain geographic locations will have horror stories for all the major shipping companies because some locations are extremely poorly run. I think it may have been UPS back home one year that was understaffed one christmas and had packages just stacking up for a long time before they could catch up.

My USPS tracking says it left Dallas heading to the next location- same thing it has said for a week.

same.. left Dallas a week ago and hasnt had another scan since.. im starting to think someone knew these were dropping and was ready.. better start watching the classifieds to find my scope.

yup.. sent an email in to them this morning and the lady replied saying there were going to keep tabs on the shipment. USPS really screwed them on this one being ive seen a couple people now with the same exact last scan as mine. lost after leaving dallas.

The 3-15 I ordered finally arrived after attending a prolonged, and apparently fun, party at a usps facility in TX.

What are you guys using the fixed 10x for? No way I'm hunting with that considering the close shots I often have.

I use mine to "proof" new to me rifles.
If the groups are good, I buy a real hunting scope for the rifle. If the groups are bad, Bye Felicia!

Currently on a p-dog AR in .223. Have designs to use for coyotes at some point. May be too much mag. Love it for p-dogs so far.

I use mine basically the same way as KenLee, If I have a gun where something is funky I put my 10x on it and bring it to the range. My FIL has my Tikka .223 varmint that it should technically live on, he uses MOA scopes though.

No, thankfully it just transitioned to "departed" at that facility, then arrived half way across the county two days later. I hope yours resolves itself soon!

I did a missing mail yesterday and when i check tracking its somehow now to a package sorting facility in Ft Worth. Fingers cross the thing lands on my porch the next couple of days!

Don't get to hopeful mine arrived at the sorting facility in Fort Worth on the 7th and hasn't been seen since. SWFA now claims all black Friday scopes have been delivered.

mine was a dallas scan from December 3rd and now has somehow come back on the face of the earth. I did do a missing mail claim with USPS so im hoping with that being in the system this will actually start moving my way.
