Something to keep in mind with the new turret dimensions:

Distance from centerline of rifle, to end of windage turret, may exceed .5X the internal dimension of a lot of hard gun cases. Or at the very least compress foam to its max. Which means that windage turret is going to be subject to the same forces as the hard case shell, if that shell isn’t rigid.

It’s probably going to fare much better in custom cut foam that suspends the gun over standard eggshell stuff.

I’m experiencing this with the 3x15 now. Maybe not a reason not to buy. Just something to consider before throwing case in back of truck and bouncing down the road 12 hours.

Anyone who ordered a scope, how long did it take them to ship it from the time you ordered it? I ordered mine on Tuesday, Dec 3rd, and it still hasn't shipped yet. Granted, the last two days have been non-business days. Normally I wouldn't think twice but given the current state of SWFA reputation, I am starting to worry.

Mine shipped the day after I ordered.

I ordered a 3-15 Monday night before the sale ended and I received an email Tuesday from them indicating they had an error with quantities in their system and they didn’t have a scope for me. They canceled the order and indicated that they will have addition units in 2 to 4 weeks and that they would honor the price for me and throw in a set of rings for the trouble. Never charged my credit card, pending transaction dropped immediately. So I’d check your email, might be in the same boat

I have USPS items bouncing all over the country tight now.
There’s a reason no one wants to ship USPS anymore. They’re pathetic. I had an order that arrived in Detroit, should have then been a ship to Lansing, then my hometown for delivery, but no. They shipped it to Chicago, then northern Wisconsin, then Minnesota, then back to northern Wisconsin, then to Chicago, then to Detroit and finally Lansing and my hometown town. Their F up cost 6 extra days in transit. Idiots.

Yup. I have a package that's been in Kansas City twice, with no real idea when it will get to South Dakota.

I just had a Solo 300 upper for an ULUL build go from Eagan, MN, 25 miles away, to St Paul-Minneapolis and back twice, taking 7 days to go across town.

Love the upper and rifle, will buy another, but I'll be asking if I can drive over and pick it up.

Update: Contacted SWFA, they say they shipped the scope on Dec 4th, the day after I ordered it and that the error is on USPS's end. So I'm in the same boat as everyone else. Customer service response was prompt and informative for what its worth.

Are the G2 still made by Kenko, Japan? Or has production been moved? I'll still give a couple new 6x a try when they come out, but have had excellent experiences with quite a few Kenko products through the years, so was hoping that SWFA continued to use them for a supplier for the SS.
