Important distinction to be aware of:If this is true, what is the use case for the 3-15x?
The reticle lines on the 3-9 are measurably thicker and more bold than the 3-15.
The reticle line weight/thickness for the 3-9 is exactly the same as the 6x.

Thank you3-9x without hesitation.
Rokscope is what the S2H crew in working on. And that’s the scope in the thread.I wondered about the Kenton turrets, too. And also, what is the Rokscope? I haven't heard of it. Is it what is discussed in this post? https://rokslide.com/forums/threads/would-you-buy-this-scope.373983/ I haven't dug through the whole thing. Is there a price point?
Great.....so I should have just bought the 3-9x for $499 instead of that Minox for $2k? Now you tell me.it’s just that the 3-9x has no equal on the market at any price.
A long long time ago, in a land pre covid, Form talked me into a 3-9 SWFA. I've had several since then and still have one now, though its currently not on a rifle. For the weight its still the best bang for the buck especially so at $499 on sale.No formal eval on the 3-9x as it is one of the most proven scopes made so I haven’t spent the time on it.
The thick outer posts are the same, the inner reticle is slightly (.01 mil) thicker.
Is the fixed 6x42 MIL available in the sale?Out of what is available on this sale, if you were going to try a SWFA for the first time, 10x. 3-9, or 3-15? All around general purpose shooting and hunting. Thanks

Even if it’s not on sale, that’s probably the best all around western hunting and shooting optic available currently. From reliability, reticle design, and having users not dick around with “zoom” and add more issues to the shot process, it can’t be beat.
The 3-9 would be the next best choice, particularly if you regularly shoot and hunt past 500-600ish yards.
They were in stock in August for a little bit but doesn’t look like they will be in stock for Black Friday. Steel contrast to a few years ago when they practically couldn’t give them away on BF.No, the 6x42 MQ is still out of stock (has been since the end of June).
they are pretty great. Really enjoying the gen 2sIs the fixed 6x42 MIL available in the sale?

I didn’t get or see the notification for a Black Friday sale. Can someone point me to the link with the prices?
Thanks for the heads up.
Bit of a rabbit hole. Those of you hunting with the 3-9, how far of shot are you taking? I dont usually use less than 15x for longer range work.
I shot my mule deer this year at 420yds. 8 power. Watched the bullet drop into the crease, and was ready for a follow up shot as he did his death dive into some buck brush. Those of you hunting with the 3-9, how far of shot are you taking? I dont usually use less than 15x for longer range work.
I did not see the 6x42 on the link, or in stock. I wish it was!Is the fixed 6x42 MIL available in the sale?

I like higher magnification if shooting paper for groups otherwise when hunting I am usually 6-10x on my scopes to retain field. Those of you hunting with the 3-9, how far of shot are you taking? I dont usually use less than 15x for longer range work.
