SWFA Black Friday

Black friday 3-9 found a home on the 18" .223, thus allowing me to joing the RSS cool guy club. Mounted and leveled, will zero sometime after the holidays. Victor cheek riser on order.

I was actually surprised at how good the glass is, and a better eyebox than I expected at lower magnification. I also thought the large turrets would bug me, but I honestly don't really notice them at all.

Thanks for this!!!
I was on RS looking for SWFA throw lever options and found a product that I didn’t know existed but now I need!!
( I also picked up a 3-9x42 on the BF sale…it’s going on my new Seekins PH3 20” 6mm Creedmoor … now just waiting for my ZG 6.5 to get shipped sometime in Jan \ Feb)

I think I'll order some too. The magnification is definitely harder to turn than I expected. 100% do-able, I can make it happen without much issue, but my 3-9 is on a .223 for the kids to shoot and they may struggle with it. A little extra grip might be the key.

Edit: I really like the zip tie idea too...

I've been eyeing these.
Not that ranger bands won't work, I just like a lever.
Not to mention $10 is crazy for a bag of ranger bands that are made of bicycle inner tubes

I just got my Ranger bands from Amazon. I doubled up two mediums on the 3-9’s mag adjustment ring and it works great. I now have a big bag of Ranger bands to find uses for lol. I’m gonna use the small 1” ones as strap retainers on my bino harness as the elastic cloth ones that came with it suck.
