SWFA Black Friday

I am thinking about picking up my first SWFA. For a lightweight 20" 6.5 CM deer gun. If I go 3x9, I see it comes with a free Kenton custom turret. Does anyone have any experience with those?

No formal eval on the 3-9x as it is one of the most proven scopes made so I haven’t spent the time on it.

The thick outer posts are the same, the inner reticle is slightly (.01 mil) thicker.
A long long time ago, in a land pre covid, Form talked me into a 3-9 SWFA. I've had several since then and still have one now, though its currently not on a rifle. For the weight its still the best bang for the buck especially so at $499 on sale.

Out of what is available on this sale, if you were going to try a SWFA for the first time, 10x. 3-9, or 3-15? All around general purpose shooting and hunting. Thanks
Is the fixed 6x42 MIL available in the sale?

Even if it’s not on sale, that’s probably the best all around western hunting and shooting optic available currently. From reliability, reticle design, and having users not dick around with “zoom” and add more issues to the shot process, it can’t be beat.

The 3-9 would be the next best choice, particularly if you regularly shoot and hunt past 500-600ish yards.
