Was literally on my way to my FFL to complete my form 4 and she called me saying it was down. ATF royally screwing us in the process, looks like the wait just became indeterminate.

Unplanned maintenance seems to be the answer if you actually talk to the ATF vs social media types looking for clicks via outrage farming. Approvals are still happening.

So, is it harder to believe that a site that has been flaky and buggy since it was launched developed a big enough issue that it needed to be shut down for a couple of days for maintenance, or that the ATF, without warning or notice, just decided to pull the plug on eforms?

Just got approved after a 9 day wait. SiCo Scythe Ti, individual eForm through capitol armory. Not sure if my 4473 went through with this outage though.

Probably not as a primary offense, but could easily be an add on. I would see it going like this “Leo is in your house and knows you have a nfa item. Asks who can open your safe. When you say anyone but you, then they could prosecute if they choose to.

The ATF changed the message on the portal. seems like they expect it to be back soon. Of course, just because you are paranoid, it doesn't mean that they aren't out to get you. Or something like that.
