Stone glacier sold out?

I’m with WeiserBucks, the only thing that is made in USA is their packs so what’s the difference?

What’s more sad, to me, is the amount of people who are perfectly willing to shell out the money for one of their foreign made sleeping bags/quilts when they could’ve bought a made in USA competitor at almost the same price.

I’m not saying that they’re bad quality wise, I know that foreign sewn stuff can be good… but I’m not paying you made in USA prices for something that isn’t made here.

Anyone notice that since stuff has been available on the site again prices have all been juiced by 10% or more?

So pants I bought 4 months ago 30.00 more, HEADWALL jacket 70.00 more

I just called them. They're moving to California which means the inventory is in transit. They said to start seeing things in stock this week. The move centralizes their shipping from one location along with the other brands owned by the parent.

That's too bad. Hate to see anyone be put into a state of bondage...

Ouch, I just noticed that as well. Was going to buy some De Havilland pants, and they've been $189 forever.. $220 now.

USA made, independently owned, alternate products...

@Mark at EXO Exo Mtn gear packs (Rokslide sponsor)
@RyanSeek43 Seek Outside Tents and Packs (Rokslide sponsor)
@ForlohFamily Forloh Clothing (Rokslide sponsor)
@TandKHunting T&K hunting binocular harness/gaiters (Rokslide sponsor)

Other than some of the technical clothing pieces, one can cover all that SG offers in the list above. My favorite hoody right now is SG's Chinook, so not a knock on SG, but a highlight on addressing some of the negatives I've read in this thread.

Moving their entire enterprise or just inventory? If the former (or later I suppose), it might explain the recent exodus of employees...
Vista Outdoor sold off the ammo part of the company last year.

The remaining part of the company was renamed Revelyst. Revelyst includes Stone Glacier. I think Revelyst was also sold off to a private capital investment group. The stock ticker went from $VSTO to $GEAR, and then quietly disappeared in a very short time between November 2024 and January 2025.

It wouldn't be unusual to have high turnover after a big acquisition or merger. There is probably a little bit of restructuring, maybe some frustration, perhaps layoffs.

I was eyeing the Grumman down pants, looks like they raised their prices to be more in line with Kuiu
