Casting DIY stone veneer

Anyone familiar with the proper premixed concrete, suitable for pouring your own stone veneer in rubber molds?

We have used 6 sack mix both 3/4 and 3/8 on jobs with form panels replicating rock face. The key is to vibrate to get rid of voids and bubbles.

We used a release product from Brickform and/or Scofield

if you are making fake rocks you might want to have chunks of styrofoam or Perlite additive to imbed making it lighter

Most affordable diy mix is Portland and expanded shale with plasticizers and pigments.
Sure wish there was an affordable premixed product, but we’re casting 2200sf and something like Cement All Rapid Set will cost 10k lol!
