This is a little Stalking rifle I picked up a couple of years ago. It took me over 6 months to acquire brass and I haven't had a chance to hunt with it, I need some lead free bullets and I haven't found any yet. The chambering is for 8x48R Sauer, very similar to the 8,15x46R. Both cartridges are similar to the 32-40 Win. The action is by an unknown maker and is a Roux type. I suspect the action was purchased from a supplier by a gunsmith who then finished the rifle circa 1910. The funny "wing-like" thing at the top of the grip is the safety and is rotated 90 degrees to engage or disengage. It came with this scope and the claw mounts installed. Because of the caliber I paid less than $500 for it.
