When they cost 50K folks will say man 30K was a good deal. When its 75k, they will say man 50K was a good deal, etc. People always think everything is too expensive, meanwhile costs of said dream keep going up and dreams go unfulfilled. The dollar is worth less every day we are alive and will continue to be worth less as time goes on, thanks to politicians like Biden.
I think that it will depend on how quickly sheep hunt go to $50, or $75K.

20 years ago a dall sheep hunt went for $12k. According to one of the inflation calculators, such a hunt should have gone up by 65% which would be a bit less than 20K. But the price has actually gone up about twice as fast as inflation.

But it's all about perspective..... $12K didn't seem like all that much to a lot of us 20 years ago because we were riding stock market and housing bubbles. Anyone who owned a house could walk into a bank, refinance and walk out with a bag of cash and often a lower mortgage payment.

That's not the case anymore. And I think that is leaving a lot of guys with some major regrets now that they see themselves priced out of their dream hunt.
