Exactly. We don’t have a Scythe problem, it’s a Magnum problem. Convince me I’m wrong 💁🏻‍♂️
The manufacturer needs to change their specs if these are not suitable for magnums. I have had two separate into two part on me now. 300 PRC, 22in barrel, shooting great, normal loads/velocity until one shot and I have half a supressor left on my gun. It is a Scythe problem until the manufacture grows a pair and admits the supressors are not performing to their spec.

Of course, especially for someone in your position, that was potentially put in harms way.
My post was satire.

Be careful what you wish for on SilencerCo changing their barrel length limitations because unless they implement a grandfather policy to previously sold Scythes, you wind be able to shoot it on some of the rifles you purchased it for.

They did something similar to the Harvester Evo in between when I purchased it and when I got it approved. I was hoping it could do double duty on my 10.5” AR but SilenceCo changed the 5.56 barrel length rating.

In something like that, i'd hope they'd at least warranty serial #'s based on the rating that was published at time of purchase rather than what the derate came to.

Not what he said. He said "compares better to".

In other words the TBAC 7 is similar in performance as to be comparable to the Scythe Ti. He never said Scythe Ti was better than TBAC 7.
From the wording I read it differently. Thank you for the correction, and I should not have put my assumed correction in quotations.
