SEVR Hybrid holes..... Lets see them.

I’ve shot two mule deer with the 1.75”. One the arrow stopped in the offside shoulder, 20 yard shot, and the deer ran 200 yards and died. The other last week, pass through at 60 yards, deer died in 100 yards. The arrow exited through the far shoulder blade but didn’t leave a very big hole on the exit.

Both instances the Sevr did some good damage inside.

Interesting thread! I've been wanting to try the sevr hybrids too. To anyone else posting results - please post your setup specs! It's an important factor with mechanicals especially...

SEVR Ti 1.75 X Hybrid Crossbow Broadhead.

Bear (31 yard shot), ran 30 yards and died very quickly. heard it crash in under ten seconds, so i know it was near by.

Doe (20 yard shot), recovery was about 70 yards.

Both clean pass through, very little blood trail, recovery was basically paying attention to which direction they ran and finding them quickly.

So far i like it and shoots extremely accurate, wish a bit more blood trails.

30.5 in draw, 70lbs, 525gr arrow

I just posted this in another thread.

I just shot this doe at 39 yds with Sevr 1.75 with good results. Was a little high but got top of lungs and some liver as she spun. Complete pass through with arrow sticking in ground behind doe. Deer went 112yds with decent blood considering high hit.

Bow: Mathews Lift 29.5 70lbs, 27.5 draw
Arrow: Easton 5.0 300 spine, 50gr brass HIT, Iron Will 10gr collar. 437gr total arrow weight.

I will probably try the grim reaper 1-3/8" pro mechanicals next time for comparison.

This was with the 1.75 hybrid? Blood trail still wasn't great?
The trails were ok, I think a higher lung shot just won’t have the blood trail a heart shot will. The cavity was pretty much filled up when we cut him open

Big fan of Sevr for deer. 👌

Shot him quartering to me. 1.75" sevr hybrid ti. I don't have any closeup of my antelope this year, but I shot at 40 yards and he ducked. Went through backstrap, bled like crazy, went like 150 yards and I was able to walk up to 78 yards to finish the job. He was hurting pretty bad, put one hell of a hole through through him.

I have iron wills and will keep one in my quiver, but I am a sevr for life person now. I've shot and connected with four shots using them and they hold up great, giant hole, all reusable. Couple blades had chips in them to I replaced some of those.

It's a mech with a crappy tip....

I've killed a muley and a sheep with the 1.5(not hybrid). Pass through on the sheep but not the buck.

I wish they would put on a 1/4" to 3/8" cut on contact tip, similar to the Evolution Hyde broadheads, but smaller.

I think the 1.5 is best mech for penetration, they fly good, and I like the practice mode.

The perfect mech.... 1.5 sevr with an IW tip...

I think the tip did exactly what it was supposed to do for me. Penetrated great, didn't bend or break. I think making it more like a blade would just add more drag. They fly so good, I wouldn't change them.
