While I'm not Jake and I'm not associated with UM or S2H, I have been paying attention for the last year and think I can answer your questions as they have been explained here, on the Podcast, and in social media. Each bullet point will address each statement you quoted. Can you make this make more sense?
That makes sense to me as long as the blems are only cosmetic? Blems are different from a "second" I take it?While I'm not Jake and I'm not associated with UM or S2H, I have been paying attention for the last year and think I can answer your questions as they have been explained here, on the Podcast, and in social media. 1. All stocks come in as unfinished stocks in bare carbon and since UM/S2H owns the molds, Stockys cannot/will not sell any stocks that are not good enough quality to send to UM as blems. If it isn't good enough to ship to UM, they will be destroyed or repaired to be used for painted stocks.
2. Stocks not good enough to be sent out as pure bare carbon stocks are in abundance right now but are all being used to make painted stocks and fill orders and therefore are not for sale right now.
3. Once all orders are filled, stocks not of a quality to be sold as bare carbon will be available. To get one that you wanted to paint your self, note in your order of a single color stock that you want a bare carbon stock with imperfections without paint.
4. While we may have seconds/blems in the future, we do not plan to sell them at a discounted price since we can use them for painted stocks and our product plan and pricing structure does not allow for a decrease in margin to allow for additional discounts at this time.
I might be full of hot air but I think I've paid attention enough to give the basic answers without overstepping. Hope this helps.

As far as I've heard discussed, there are going to be 2 levels of stocks produced that will ship to UM from Stockys that will be offered for sale and 1 level that won't be offered for sale. That makes sense to me as long as the blems are only cosmetic? Blems are different from a "second" I take it?
Same here!!I'm ready to place my orders lol. i waited to long
Your order date was 8/15, it will come around soon.I was late to the party. I just haven't seen any 700 LA posted up. 199144
Just picked up a Vesper on the bogo sale which is now the intended action for this stock.
Yes, if there is any confusion on your order, you will be contacted. Not necessarily a UM question if anyone else has experienced, but I ordered 2-3 color, missed the spot to specify colors, etc. Will they contact me when stock is in and ready to cerakote?
Not really, there are no blems as of this moment. Can you make this make more sense?

Hopefully by end of year, if not a hair sooner.Same here!!
I'm aware when my order date was. I have only seen R700 SA posted haven't seen a R700 LA posted by anyone.Your order date was 8/15, it will come around soon.

To answer your question, yes....REM 700 Longs have been produced and are "in the wild".I'm aware when my order date was. I have only seen R700 SA posted haven't seen a R700 LA posted by anyone.
The price is indeed very good. At the moment I would by a blem just to get another stock now, no discount needed. I'm sure someone else would beat me to buying it though, that is the problem with being slow, like I am....Not really, there are no blems as of this moment.
After speaking with Stockys, the discount for blems is so minimal it doesn't matter anyway.
This is because the pricing structure on these stocks is so amazing.
If it's a railed stock you are going to be waiting a real long while. Don't know for sure but not that long ago there was day 1 orders still unfulfilled. There's alot of us that ordered the first week and our stocks haven't been molded yet.Full custom tikka ordered 2/28/24 with a custom cerakote job… order# 189827. Any ideas? Supposedly, just waiting on the stock. Thinking I might be caught up in the cerakote backlog.
update. it got sorted. got a call yesterday saying it was ready and just needed to pay my invoice and shipped out today from UM. both the threaded barreled action and my stock with the spacers. so had to wait a little bit longer on the spacers and much shorter on the threading so it's evened out and should be back in my hands by thursday. thx UM.yea im sure it will get sorted

It was said early, builds went before stock orders.
So if you wanted an early RS, order a build.
I don't know if that's still the case, but I'd think a build still gets some priority.
I'm a day one still waiting, but have no issue with those that ordered a full firearm getting some priority.
