So in the example picture you posted, the color that would be chosen for that one would be tan (or whatever that exact color is) and the black around the exposed carbon is standard
@Unknown Munitions have previously indicated you can choose the two colors in the standard branded paint scheme. In their example, is was FDE and black (outline of bare carbon).

For me, I’ll likely choose OD Green and Hunter Orange (outline)

I just added 4" ARCA to the optional accessories list. This rail would be installed just in front of the DBM for tripod shots.

Is this going to be surface mounted and removable if desired or bedded in?

His post #1761 has me thinking otherwise but maybe I am reading it wrong.
I believe he said the deal would be: Pick the 1 color price and he would honor that for the torn pattern for those following this thread. In the notes state you want the torn pattern and which 2 colors, one is main and one is the outline color, the webbing will try to match one of the colors generally.

Why is the rokstok better than a mcmillan gamewarden long range?

Having not used either, the things that make the rokstok more appealing:

Shorter distance to trigger from grip and looks like better thumb shelf setup
Higher (in relation to bore) recoil pad (less muzzle rise)
Higher comb
flush or sub flush fitting front rails
Less expensive
Lead time

To me the grip is huge and I'm confident I'd significantly prefer the rokstock option.

This is just a quick model of the Rokstok I did to exhibit the features here. The rail, and the cutout in the rail are accurate.

The top of the rail will be flush with the main surface of the fore end. its 4.2" OAL, with bolt spacing of 2.75". The end of the picatinny section will match the shape of the end of the stock.

Look at the photo for corresponding #'s

1. (2) 10-32 fastening points
2. QD cup
3. 1.125" of arca rail
4. 1.82" of picatinny rail
5. (2) 10-32 tapped holes that can be used to add a standard sling stud to. (We also use these for workholding while manufacturing)ROKSTOK ARCA PIC.pngROKSTOK ARCA PIC 2.PNGROKSTOK ARCA PIC 3.PNG

UPDATE 12/20/2023

I'll start again by saying I haven't read the last few pages yet, but I will today and answer any questions there.

We tested the last stock print on several people last week and decided on some slight changes. Those changes have been implemented and printed and the new print is currently on its way to @Formidilosus and he should have it tomorrow for final approval. Thank you @Stockys for being so willing to indulge our need for the stock to be perfect down to the tenth of an inch.

If he is finally satisfied with it, we will initiate the pre sale asap.

Below is the drawing displaying the texture panels for some further info not posted before.

Guys this is badass... and thank you all for taking the time, money, and effort to get it right!

@Unknown Munitions & @Formidilosus I'm super happy as is, consider this just curiosity. I know one of the major items you were striving for it above bore line support to help control muzzle rise. Looks like the super aggressiveness on this at the beginning likely didn't work for some shooters on the comb side. Have you guys toyed around with the idea of possibly making the stock be able to accept an adjustable buttpad for those who may want to toy around with this in the future on prone shots? Still get a very aggressive above bore without the shark fin comb?

Looks perfect for me, good work.

How about a low profile 3ish" arca rail in front of magwell purpose fit also?

The sweep of the stock makes the rail have to sit a little further forward. But its still in the sweet spot for shooting off a tripod, a little in front of where the balance point would normally land.

I seen somewhere that the flat spot between the dbm and the scallop is just over 6". Is there a possibility of getting an arca rail that fits that perfectly?

While its not currently planned for the Rokstok, we will most likely end up with a standard offering arca rail from SRS that will fit this section.

Yeah I am kind of torn between the mini arca and the 4” one. 4” doesnt really add much and when I used the hunters rail I never really moved it once I have it set in front of the DBM
