RokStok

Question on the logistics moving forward…. Is the plan to keep enough inventory of each stock model on hand so that when one places an order it is fulfilled immediately? Or will it be the usual place order, go into production, wait months for the stock to be built and then shipped?

On the last podcast they released, the long term plan once the stock is fully in production would be a 5-day turnaround similar to Stocky's current lead times. That's for cerakote and rail installation, depending on what options the customer chooses. I think they said no more than 90 days on these preorders.

In the past month I've doubled the investment in my tikka of 5 years. A gun I've never missed with... This stock is the latest "investment". No real questions on the stock just questioning my sanity. Good day.

So, this thread died at 157 pages because everyone wants to argue about scopes.

Lets start taking bets on if the RokStok has a POI shift when dropped and not bonded, and resurrect this beast. After all, most zero shifts are due to the stock, not the scope.

Remember, that # is pronounced 'pound.' *

*Only the first line of the post should be taken seriously.

I think that’s the cost of admission of this site…everyone starts seeing what they can improve in their gear. In a big way though it’s a good thing. Despite the bickering I truly believe at the end of the day people are pretty open minded. Just look at the .223 and sub magnum caliber shift in exchange for shot placement. I feel we sliders are in the forefront of a revolution.
Now I have to go back to the Optics thread to argue why my Burris FF II on my .22 is as dependable as my Trijicon Ten Mile…

I hope this stock lives up to it's reputation , Lots of Marking out in this thread. Rokstaff should team up with Nightforce to offer up a lighter weight Nightforce with ATACR glass. Then I will be leg wetting in these threads too.

For me, this sight saved me from building a custom, so it saved me money. Also saved me money by getting me to buy SWFA rather than all NF and S&B. I was thinking the SWFA was just a place holder (uggly, giant turrets, no illumination) until I had more money, but it is starting to grow on me, I may even end up preferring it over my S&B.

And that’s a great point too…I often wonder if companies like SWFA noticed a spike in sales that could be attributed to this site. Or a loss in sales for certain companies that someone we trusted had a bad experience with…semi-custom carbon barreled bolt action brand name omitted…

You would think that if there was a noticeable uptick in SWFA sales (I don't see how there wouldn't be) that they would have increased their import rate by now. I think they're still waiting until they have a certain number sold before they have them shipped here. I believe it was multiples of 20. Why not just ship a couple of hundred of the obviously popular 6x & 3-9 models?
I'm sure folks would be more inclined to purchase if there wasn't an indefinite backorder time.

Agreed. Surely someone watches silly things like sales trends for them right?

Hmmmm..... posts number 2 & 20 might give a clue.

I was told they were redesigning a lot of the scopes they had….. adding things like zero stops and capped windage turrets and stuff like that. Could be a possible reason why it seems hard to get some of the more successful scopes.
