Roksliders, here is the first glimpse of the highly anticipated Rokstok Lite. I will supply the production and retail info I know and then let @Formidilosus and @Ryan Avery take over with the real details you want.

I don't know yet if there will be a scalloped rail version, it looks like there may not be enough meat on there but we'll see. If there's not enough room we will design some super lite rail versions for it to keep the weight down.

The wood design is right at 20/21 ounces with butt pad, I don't know where the carbon will end up.

We plan to have the LOP backing plate integrated on this model so you can add spacers as needed. The original Rokstok needed the mold to incorporate the LOP and we did not think of that ahead of time.

Pricing will be very similar to the original Rokstok.

Action inlets will be limited to 700 Short, Tikka, Howa mini, Kimber, Savage. We are open to more requests, I may have missed some here.

We plan to make a youth model with a short LOP that comes with the spacer kit to grow with your child. Any input on minimum LOP would be great so we know where to start.

As the wood version has just been approved by @Formidilosus the process is to scan the stock, 3D print the stock for dimensional checks, then have molds made, then acid etch the molds, then start test inlets, then finally production stocks.

I won't try just yet to put a timeline on this, but will keep you updated on this thread as we move along. But the process is underway!!!

Thank you all for your support of UM and S2H!!!!

So it won’t be using standard tikka bottom metal?

Edit to clarify my question- since tikka actions are all the same, what is preventing it to just be a standard tikka inlet?
It will take standard tikka bottom metal. IT will be restricted to 300 WSM or less.

Minimum LOP 12” would be shorter than most offerings (most youth stocks I have seen bottom out at 12.5”).

Would be a good market for thermal hunters with a shorter LOP as well (they like to spend $$$).

Excited for this. Good inlet choices. Also smart thinking of youth and LOP in advance.

IMHO the right way to deal with bipod attachment is with a spigot rather than a scallop for a variety of reasons. But the POU for this stock makes handling a bipod less important in general.

Too funny. Even the pictures of Form’s stocks get blurred out. Really like the look of this despite the blur. Will likely be in for two. If you can’t do a rail on these, an inset short arca rail in front of the action screw like @B_Reynolds_AK suggested would be a great addition.

Make it as short as possible while still holding the spacers and pad.

My impression is there are a lot of eager beavers on here like me that have 5-6-7-8 year old youth shooting.

My 6 year old already wants to move on from his shorty rimfire XLR with a red dot to a rifle with a scope and "deer bullets" because his goal is to kill a deer on his own. Atta boy.
