Revic BLR10b Rangefinding Binoculars

Any idea on when the details might be public?
Episode 194 "The Reserve Hunting Recap + Q and A on Hunt Prep" of the Long Range Pursuit from Gunwerks discussed the Gen II BLR-10Bs. To shape your expectations, the podcast did not go into great depth offering hard release dates or specs.

I also reviewed the Leica Geovid Pro now and upgraded the software to AB Elite for $149.

Considering the price difference between Leica Pro and Leica AB+ versions (appr $600 here in Norway), this makes the Leica Geovid AB+ look like an unusually poor offer. If I understand correctly, the difference is a preinstalled software upgrade and a (in my opinion useless for field shooting) WEZ number???

I haven't tested the Revics yet, but they seem more gearedbtowards actual shooting and killing. The Leica feels slo-oo-ow and I can't really control the data or speed of the display.

Looks like mid-late August for the Gen 2 now. Thinking (hoping) it will be worth the wait, maybe I should have held on to my Gen 1 until I got the Gen 2 😒

Any update on specs on the gen 2s?

From what I have heard:
- slightly better glass
- faster ranging
- color other than black
- more info in retical
- better app integration

BUT I have not put hands on them, this is all word of mouth.

For the last month, I have been comparing my favorite EL Range TAs to the Gen 1 and Gen 2 Revics. Just waiting for Revic to give the word to proceed.

Thats a really good hype-up…… now the waitttttt for more clarification 🤣.

Hopefully you can let us know more details soon, like is there a 12x option

I’ll play with these more this weekend at a NRL match where I can range longer distances.

In my back yard using my neighbors roof line and my garden post, my revics definitely range distances that are in the top third of the O reticle. I tried taking some pics with my phone. Roof is 114 and post is 22.
And this is in Near mode?

Correct. At the NRL shoot a couple weekends ago (in “Near” mode) I was able to range plates consistently no matter where I positioned them in the O reticle. The plate would need to be more than 1/2 out of the reticle before I’d get a different range. Felt pretty good about product performance after that shoot. Albeit all targets were within 600 yards.
