Sounds like I need to go back in time and tell myself that doing volume sets of 300lb deadlifts “for time” is an effing stupid idea.

The good news is my wife wants a mirror, and that’s free - I just have to remove it from the bedroom ceiling.

Pretty similar to what I have. You won't need the preacher bar with the cable machine curl bar. Could arguably skip the dumbells too, but I didn't.

I started with two barbells, highly recommend adding another as soon as you can. Wife has since found more at the thrift.
Even if she’s not working out with me, if I want to do multiple barbell lifts in superset it’s really handy.
If I had a better place for a sled, we’d have a sled. Looking at finding a way to make it work in the driveway anyway.

Love the sauna! How do you like it?? We need one

I'm actually using the sauna a ton, trying to detox some pretty serious mold toxin build ups. It's weird sweating so hard doing nothing, but I'm feeling noticeably better and sleeping away better on the nights I sauna.

Figured I’d add a few pictures for anyone following along. Our home gym is very simple but meets our needs for now. I’d like to upgrade our treadmill and get a rowing machine one day when we have a shop and more space.

This is the Titan T3 squat rack with half-rack and plate holders added on. I’ve been really happy with it so far. Dumbbells and plates are a mix from various sales and used on Facebook. Kettlebells are from Walmart. Peloton and treadmill came from Facebook marketplace.
