PVA Taperless Tikka Pre-fit weights

Looks like 2oz lighter with flutes vs no flutes for that configuration.
Yeah its real close to my unfluted 22 Creed PBB barrel (32.25oz), which would probably be lighter in 6 Creed. By the time I add an OG adapter for the 6.5 OG it will probably be the same or more.

I was commenting versus my pva barrel which is exactly the same (PVA .680 Taperless 18" 6 Creed) but non-fluted, its 2oz more (33.4oz).

are you using rockset to bond the adapter to the barrel or a different method?
Blue loctite on the adapter and grease and "the snap" on the suppressor.

I tried some Rocksett and may have used too much and lost an adapter inside an AB Raptor. Got it back with blue loctite.

Playing with dressing up the Barbie's today.

16.5" PVA 0.750 tapperless in 6 creed. 5/8x24 threads.

Factory Tikka 308 cut to 16.5" with adapter to 5/8x24.

Factory Tikka 243 cut to 17" with adapter to 5/8x24.

It should be obvious, but the scale was zeroed with the cup on it.

I'm guessing factory Tikka 223 cut to 16-17" is pretty close to that PVA
Probably, I just got all the tikkas put back together, otherwise I'd weight barreled actions for you.

I have my barrels individual weights buried in this thread somewhere or another barrel thread.

I just pulled a PVA .750 taperless 18" spiral fluted 22 creed barrel and installed a factory 16" 223 barrel and dropped 5oz on the rifle.

I think the PVA .680 taperless is closer to factory weight than the PVA .750 taperless.
