Well then if that is the case, how are all the hunters going to feel when wildlife research on deer, elk, antelope, and other species are cut in favor of research on “endangered” carnivores, truly endangered salamanders, lizards, butterflies, and small mammals? I’m just trying to put this into context so if it does come back around, I’m certain that many people will be livid to see research on more common ungulate species stop while “endangered” grizzlies and wolves take up the funding. Personally, I can tolerate that but I’d be willing to bet many others here will not.
Overdramatic sky is falling presumptuous worst case scenario is invalid.
Pretty sure Elon admitted he made up the condom story and followed it up with admitting many of the things he's reporting are not true so I'm kinda focused on that as it pertains to his credibility
You have a fundamental misunderstanding of how money is appropriated for projects. Money isn’t pulled out of thin air for pet projects, but is allocated by congress and you may not agree with what congress has approved, but it’s the way the process works. Trying to eliminate congress and make all decisions by the executive branch sounds good as a sound bite, but isn’t realistic and isn’t how the system works.
