Last two years, 2023 & 2024 Archery bucks on Public in PA. Have several more good Archery bucks off Public over the years, but don't have any of their pics downloaded.

Cory Gulvas. Oct 2020. State lands in Tioga County. 191 inches. #1 Trad Bow Typical and #2 Archery Typical in state history. Just shows the caliber of deer PA is able to produce on public lands.

^^^^ When they were first implemented, where I lived, it was 4 points on a side.

They changed it because "hunters" were supposedly leaving dead bucks lying everywhere because they shot "6 points" with no brow tines.....

Personally, I wish they had left it as 4 points on a side and taken peoples hunting licenses for 10 years for killing illegal bucks when they got caught....

If Pennsylvania didn’t have so many hunters and a slaughter fest of a gun season. I truly believe the genetics could rival Ohio if not better. Even with close to a million hunters, Antler Restrictions continue to produce high caliber bucks every year.

Yep the slaughter of gun season is one of the most depressing things ever. Going throughout archery last season, I had 5 giants on camera that were never killed all archery. After the first 3 days of rifle everyone was dead. Its very hard for even the weariest buck to survive a rifle behind every other tree.
