PB, Bacon and Honey Sandwich Question

I haven't weighed them so wouldn't have a clue. They are pretty dense and filling. I only take one per day and that is enough. Started out taking two and rarely ate both of them so now its just one.

For those that make them ahead of time, vac seal and freeze, what's the longest you've had them in the freezer before taking them out and eating them? Did they taste ok?

I'm wanting to make all mine this weekend for my 10 day trip from 9.1 to 9.10.

Bump for last question, howl long will it last? I have several made for my trip next week, but I dont know if they'll be good by day 6. What you guys think?

I vac sealed mine last year the day before I left and ate last one eight days later with no problems. Honey crystallized a little but still tasted great. I use toasted English muffins.. Not as hard to eat because of dryness as a bagel

OK, thanks. I toasted mine, and froze them after vacuum sealing them, so I think I'll be OK if I eat them before day 6.
Thanks again

If you toast, make, seal and freeze they will last a couple weeks. The key is toasting in my experience.

I agree that toasting makes a world of difference.

I also make some with Nutella instead of honey. I eat the sandwiches with honey first as the Nutella stays soft longer.

Nutella instead of the honey or instead of PB?

I think Nutella has more calories than PB iirc.

I always run PB and alternate adding Nutella or honey. The way I figure it, chocolate covered bacon isn't just county fair food.

Nice. I haven't tried either one yet, but will this season. I know I'll be wishing for a glass of cold milk to wash down that PB/Nutella mix though ;)
